Nair Systems is expanding its UAE risk and data engineering team, and they're looking for a Manager who lives and breathes IFRS9, credit risk data, and large-scale banking data pipelines. Required Experience
- Hands-on experience implementing IFRS9 models within a banking or financial services environment
- Strong background in risk data engineering and ETL development
- Proven track record managing regulatory risk data (Basel II/III, IFRS9) in a production banking setting

- Prior consulting or professional services experience in banking technology
- Familiarity with large-scale data platforms in a regulated environment
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with risk, compliance, and engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of IFRS9 models within banking client environments
- Own the engineering and maintenance of risk data pipelines, from ETL through to reporting
- Manage credit risk data covering PD, LGD, and EAD calculations
- Build and maintain SQL-based data workflows across Impala, Hive, and Oracle
- Use Python and SAS for data processing and model support
- Work within Cloudera CDP for large-scale data engineering tasks
- Deliver risk reporting and dashboards through Power BI and SAP BusinessObjects
- Ensure regulatory risk data management stays aligned with Basel II/III and IFRS9 standards
