Galfar Engineering & Contracting W.L.L. Emirates is hiring a Senior Planning Engineer to join their Oil & Gas Pipeline EPC division in the UAE. This is a chance to work on major onshore pipeline projects with one of the region's established EPC contractors, in a role where your planning expertise directly shapes project delivery.
If you've spent the last decade mastering schedules, sequencing, and reporting on large-scale energy projects, this one's built for you.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects
- Strong background in onshore pipeline projects specifically
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Solid grasp of project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting
- Ability to track EPC project timelines across multiple work fronts
Preferred Skills:
- Prior UAE or GCC work experience
- Immediate availability to join
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Monitor progress against baseline plans and flag delays early
- Prepare planning reports and updates for project stakeholders
- Coordinate with site, procurement, and engineering teams to keep timelines aligned
- Support forecasting, resource planning, and risk mitigation on pipeline work fronts
